Property Description

Welcome to Villa Primavera, a meticulously restored and renovated 1923 Spanish Revival complex featuring eight residences and a separate cottage, originally designed by renowned architects Arthur and Nina Zwebell. Situated along the historic, tree-lined 1300 block of N. Harper Avenue in West Hollywood, this exceptional property has been thoughtfully updated to offer modern luxury living while preserving its original architectural charm and character. Tucked behind lush, mature hedges, Villa Primavera transports residents back to Hollywood's golden era. Throughout its history, the property has been home to notable Hollywood stars and prominent figures and was famously featured as a backdrop in director Nicholas Ray's classic 1950 film noir, In a Lonely Place. The property beautifully captures Southern California's signature indoor-outdoor lifestyle, featuring a picturesque central courtyard with a large tiled fountain, lush landscaping, winding pathways, and a shared outdoor fireplace for residents to enjoy. Traditional red tile roofs, white adobe walls, and charming walkways connect the eight residences and cottage, creating a peaceful and intimate residential setting. Each residence offers its own distinctive layout and architectural details, including original exposed wood ceilings, tile flooring, wrought iron light fixtures, beautifully renovated bathrooms with custom tilework and new cabinetry, and chef-inspired kitchens equipped with exceptional appliances. Most residences also feature working fireplaces, adding to the property's historic character. All residences have been upgraded with new HVAC systems and ample storage featuring new closet systems. Residence 1302 offers two bedrooms and one bathroom, complete with all-new stainless steel appliances, a working fireplace, a private balcony, a separate dining room, central heating and air conditioning, a spacious soaking tub, and an in-unit washer and dryer. This is a rare opportunity to call one of West Hollywood's beautifully restored historic architectural gems home, offering the perfect combination of old Hollywood charm and modern-day comfort.
